The Beiige Store

The Beiige Store is a personal journey of Rachelle Holland, an idea birthed while pregnant with her second son. Rachelle was born and raised in Ghana but moved to the UK with her family at the age of 10. Despite being in the UK all these years, she admits to always having a strong connection with her birthplace; she always feels at home in Ghana. The idea of The Beiige Store began when purchasing art or furniture to bring back home to the UK after visits. The level of perfection involved amazing creators whose work she felt needed more appreciation and recognition. From there, she began exploring ways to share this passion with the world. Drawing inspiration from her life as a young kid when her mother would have hula hoops made for her from scratch using cane, she now uses rattan to create her furniture. Rachelle has built a team of artisans in Ghana who skillfully handcraft all the homeware pieces under the Beiige Store. Rachelle plans to grow the team and build a base in Ghana giving where artisans stability and good working conditions.
